Day 1
Introductory video: welcome, orientation and overview.
Day 2 – 29
Self-study and forum discussion.
- Receipt of a 15-20-page booklet covering the subject in focus, including illustrations, mind maps and an appendix of further resources. You are invited to set aside time for the study of this. Depending on your experience we suggest 2-4 hours a week.
- During this month you will receive questions, knowledge bites, titbits on the subject, to help encourage and support self-directed learning.
- There will be a forum open for participants during this month to post queries, observations, thoughts, experience. Both tutors and participants will be able to
Day 30
Webinar, 90mins.
- In the first 45 minutes we cover the theory, keeping the focus on clinical presentation. This will be guided by questions that may have arisen on the forum.
- After a 15m break we return to look at case studies and to discuss the practicalities of ‘treatment’.
- The space is then open to questions, insights and discussion
Day 45
Context, discussion, 60m.
In this conversation at the kitchen table, we pan back to look at the bigger context, of what has been elucidated in our study of the clinical picture. Here we seek to investigate broader scale patterns, the socio-cultural and political as well as the emotional and psychological that may have contributed to this physical imbalance. Thus, starting from the human body, we may glean some insights into where we find ourselves as a body of humanity – and how we got here.
