Description

In course X we explore the key disease patterns that are likely to present in the clinical setting starting with the small intestine looking at small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and the different patterns of IBS. We take a deep dive into the anatomy and biochemistry of the stomach to break down the food we eat. We then zoom into some of the most severe presentations of inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract including inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer looking at specific categories of each and possible contributing factors, as well as the potential to heal.
